Be careful who you trust. Salt and sugar look the same.
Be careful who you trust when you have a wish or a desire. Be vigilant who you express your yearnings with, because there are plenty of people out there who want to put a dampener on your aspirations, people who want to get one on you and, of course, people who then criticize you for what you’ve done.
One thing we all know is that recognition of people who are trustworthy isn’t always easy. What is more, we often do is open up all our thoughts and show them to the people around us in their entirety. We could open up to our parents or siblings and address with them our desire to achieve such and such a thing, to undertake such and such a journey, to compromise a relationship
“Trust takes years to build, seconds to break, and forever to repair.”
“Breaking someone’s trust is like crumpling up a perfect piece of paper. You can smooth it over but it’s never going to be the same again.”
“The best way to know if you can trust someone is to actually put your trust in that person”–Ernest Hemingway–
“Whoever is careless with the truth in small matters cannot be trusted with important matters.”– Albert Einstein
“Sometimes you don’t know who you can and cannot trust. I still learn that over and over again.”– Demi Lovato
“Only trust someone who can see these three things in you: the sorrow behind your smile, the love behind your anger, and the reason behind your silence.”
